PRM / INVITATION 9 Oct: The Baltic Sea and Climate Change - seminar and capacity-building day for journalists

Dette er en pressemeddelelse leveret af Via Ritzau.

Pressemeddelelse fra Suomen Akatemia

What are the consequences of increasingly low oxygen levels in the Baltic Sea resulting from climate change and human actions, and what is the solution to these problems? How is the nutrient cocktail in our coastal waters changing? How can we reduce the load on the Baltic Sea through nutrient recycling? What does the future of the Baltic Sea region look like in the light of climate change and socio-economic factors?

Join us for a training day addressing these and other key issues concerning the Baltic Sea and climate change. This is an excellent opportunity to get an overview directly from leading Baltic Sea researchers of the latest research and data on how climate change affects the Baltic Sea and what kinds of response and adaption resources are available.
