The travel concept, developed by Go! Aviation, answers the growing need for quick, cost-efficient business travel on routes the customer needs. The routes are tailored and flown to and from the closest possible airfield according to the customers' specific needs.
The costs are moderate because the flights are operated on single engine passenger planes with a capacity of 8 passengers, and a route opened for one customer is also available for everyone else.
"Go! Aviation has a completely novel, even radical, approach to business travel. We combine the most relevant benefits of a private plane with the price of a business class ticket", tells the company's co-founder and CEO Jorma Kario.
The customer companies benefit also through concrete timesavings. Through the use of smaller airfields that process passengers faster, the business traveller can easily reclaim entire workdays on a single trip. Internationally operating companies outside the big cities additionally benefit from the added connectivity.
"We can even start a route for just a single customer, or flexibly for small customer groups. We are making cost-effective travel from smaller cities to Central Europe a possibility", Kario continues.
The first of its kind
This year, Go! Aviation will introduce passenger transport using two Pilatus-turboprop aircraft with a capacity for 8 passengers. Until now, this type of aircraft has not been in wide commercial use in Europe, whereas in the USA, Canada and Australia the plane type is prevalent. Go! Aviation will thus have a significant competitive advantage on the European market.
A significant target group for Go! Aviation is companies with domestic or European travel needs to destinations currently without flight connections or destinations that are complicated and time-consuming to reach. A model has been constructed where companies become fractional owners of a plane through a holding company founded for that sole purpose.
"When a company becomes a fractional owner of an airplane, they can fly their own flights even more economically than Go! Aviation's low prices", states Kario
